When adding and scanning your domain, you may encounter a code error that prevents our site from scanning all your pages or your entire domain, but they're easy to fix.
Domain Indexing Taking Too Long
If your domain taking longer than 10 minutes to index, try adding your domain again, select the Sitemap crawling method under Advanced Settings and enter your sitemap URL before attempting the scan again.
Using your sitemap to add pages to your dashboard allows us to scan your website much faster, which means you get to see your results quicker, too.
429 - Your Site Has Caused Our Tool to Time Out
Websites often have rate limits to protect against abuse, spam, and attacks, and if our tool is unable to make a sufficient number of requests to your site, we cannot complete your scan.
In this instance, we recommend getting in touch with your hosting provider to update your hosting settings and then try the scan again thereafter.
Alternatively, if you want to continue scanning your website, you can set a Custom Header under your Domain Settings and disable the limitation that way.
