Learn how to clear a 400 scan error.

400 — Bad request

What's happening

When we tried to reach the URL you gave us, the server returned a 'bad request' error. Almost always, this means one of two things:

  • The URL has a typo somewhere

  • The URL is missing the https:// prefix

The fix

  1. Open the URL in your browser exactly as you typed it. If it doesn't load, you've found the issue.

  2. Make sure the URL starts with https:// (not just http:// or just the domain name).

  3. Copy the URL straight from your browser's address bar — that way you're certain there are no typos.

  4. Add the domain again with the corrected URL.

Still not working?

If the URL is definitely correct and you're still seeing a 400, something more unusual is going on (authentication required, regional blocking, or custom server configuration). Reply to the error email you got and we'll help you sort it out.
