To make use of our SmartFix™ feature, you will need to install a JS snippet on your Weebly website.
The snippet needs to be added to your site’s global template, right before </body> tag.
Once installed, the remediation script will automatically run across your website and enable AI-assisted accessibility fixes.
Here are the steps you’ll need to follow to get set up.
Step 1: Locate Your SmartFix™ Script
After adding your domain to ACE™ Scanner, you will see the option to Set Up SmartFix™.
Here, you’ll find your unique JavaScript snippet.
To locate the script:
Log into your AccessibilityChecker.org account
Click on your domain
Click Set Up SmartFix™
Copy the script snippet provided
Step 2: Log Into Weebly
Log into your Weebly account and open the website where you want to install the remediation script.
Step 3: Open the Settings Menu
Inside the Weebly editor:
Click Settings
Select the SEO section
In Weebly, the SEO settings area includes fields for adding custom header and footer code sitewide.
Step 4: Locate the Footer Code Section
Scroll until you find the field labeled:
Footer Code
or Footer Code Injection
This area allows you to insert scripts before the closing </body> tag across your entire website.
Step 5: Paste the SmartFix™ Script
Paste your remediation script into the Footer Code field.
Click Save and publish your website.
Important: The remediation script may not appear on your live website until the site has been republished.
Step 6: Validate the Connection
Return to your ACE™ Scanner dashboard in the SmartFix™ pop-up and click on Validate Connection.
