Your "Scan History" graph not only lets you keep track of the issues on your site, your score, and the fixes you have made to date, but it also serves as a useful tool if you are ever targeted by a web accessibility lawsuit.
Websites that are able to prove they are taking active steps towards making their website compliant are far less likely to be subject to fines and penalties. However, this will differ on a case-by-case basis, and you should always consult with a legal professional before making any assumptions.
Scan History Graph โ What We Track
The scan history graph tracks four metrics over time:
Pages (blue line). The total number of pages scanned on the domain.
Score (yellow/orange line). The overall accessibility compliance score as a percentage.
Unresolved issues (red line). The number of accessibility issues that have not yet been fixed.
Fixed issues (green line). The number of issues that have been successfully resolved over time.
How to read it
The x-axis represents time
The y-axis represents the value of each metric.
You can hover over any point on the graph to see a detailed tooltip with exact values for all four metrics on that specific date and time.
The graph also supports filtering via "All time" and "All data" dropdowns, allowing you to narrow the time range or focus on specific data types.
This makes it easy to spot trends. For example, whether unresolved issues are going up or down, and whether your compliance score is improving over time.
