šŸ–±ļøIntroducing the ACEā„¢ Extension

Modern websites are highly interactive. Menus that expand on click, modals that only appear when triggered, infinite scrolls, and single-page applications often hide accessibility issues until someone actually interacts with the page.

ACEā„¢ Extension bridges that gap. It gives you hands-on testing power, right in your browser, so you can uncover issues that go beyond what a static scan can detect.

Why Use Our ACEā„¢ Extension?

While our automated scans cover your entire site, ACEā„¢ Extension makes it possible to:

  • Scan interactive elements that only show up after user interaction, such as modals, dropdowns, and dynamic content in SPAs.

  • Visually highlight issues directly on the page, making it easier to spot exactly where problems occur.

  • Validate fixes in real time, so developers can confirm changes instantly without waiting for a full re-scan.

  • Record new issues automatically: any problems found through interaction are logged in the extension and synced to your ACEā„¢ Scanner dashboard. This ensures they’re included in your compliance reports, complete with failing elements, fixing instructions, and references to relevant standards.

With the extension, you get instant feedback for page-by-page troubleshooting, and a seamless connection back to your full accessibility compliance platform.

  • Use the panel’s numbered dropdown menus for detailed information about each issue.

4. Testing Interactive Elements

  • Engage with menus, modals, dropdowns, or any other interactive elements on your site.

  • The extension will detect and record any new issues that appear after interaction.

  • These issues are logged both in the extension and automatically synced to your ACEā„¢ Scanner dashboard, complete with:

    • Failing elements

    • Compliance references

5. Accessing Your Results

  • Static issues: Find them as usual under the Overview section in your dashboard.

  • Interactive issues: Review them under the Interactive Elements tab.
