🖥️ Viewing Your Scan Results
Once your domain is successfully scanned, you will see your domain as well as a brief overview of your results on your dashboard.
By clicking on your domain name, you will be able to access further details on your scan results.
Your scan results overview will include:
Your accessibility score out of 100
The number of unresolved issues
The number of fixed issues
Number of pages scanned
The date of your last scan
The date of your next scan, which happens automatically every 7 days if you’ve purchased a subscription
The graph to the right of your dashboard will start tracking your issues as well as your fixes, giving you a record of your remediation efforts should you ever be targeted by a lawsuit.
Further down on your dashboard, you will see a detailed breakdown of the issues found on your site according to the four main WCAG principles: POUR, which stands for Perceivable, Operable, Understandable & Robust.
Any issues are further categorized according to WCAG Level A, AA, or AAA as well as whether an issue could be tested automatically, manually, or both.
Not every criterion in WCAG can be tested by software alone. Some can be fully automated, others require manual verification, and many require a combination of both, and your dashboard gives you a complete overview of this.
🔍 Automated Tests
The Automated Tests tab is where you will see all of the issues on your site that were automatically detected by our software or our Chrome extension.
Static Pages
The Static Pages tab show all of the URLs that our tool automatically picked up on, that were added via your sitemap, or that you added manually.
You can filter your results according to specific URLs or specific issues across static pages.
If you choose to filter your results By Page, clicking on the Scan Details button next to each of your URLs will show you exactly what issues are impacting each page.
If you choose to filter your results By Issue, your dashboard will list all of the active issues on your site. Clicking on the Details button will provide you with in-depth information on each issue and show you which elements and pages are currently affected.
Interactive Elements
Interactive elements like buttons, forms, and menus often appear or change only after user interaction, so they’re missed by basic scans.
Our Chrome Extension is designed to scan this dynamic content in real-time, and your results are collected under the Interactive Elements tab.
🧠 Manually Required
Since web accessibility has a number of subjective elements, there are a few manual checks you will need to perform, which you can view under the "Manually Required" tab on your dashboard.
22 Detailed manual test procedures will need to be completed, and each one maps directly to WCAG criteria, giving you much more precise guidance.
Even better, these tests are designed so that a web developer with no prior accessibility experience can complete them by following our step-by-step guided wizard. The wizard walks you through each check, explains what to look for, and shows you how to record results.
Once you’ve conducted these manual checks, you can mark them as "Resolved" to boost your score.
📖 Note. Please be aware that you won’t be able to achieve a score of 100 with an automatic scan alone – manual checks are also required.
Your Manual Audit Options
We know not every team wants to take on the responsibility of performing manual audits themselves. If you’d prefer, you can reach out to us for a professional manual audit conducted by one of our accessibility experts. We’ll provide a tailored quote, and our team will handle the manual testing for you.
📄 Downloading Your Reports
Along with viewing your scan results on your dashboard, you will also be able to download a scan overview in a PDF format and a more detailed report with remediation recommendations in an XLS format.
